Sharp(e) Family Genealogy

Home

March 2011 -

I have been planning an update for almost a year now
but have not been able to get to it.
I PROMISE I will get it done this summer (2011)!!!!

I now have the Sharp(e) reference books online where
you can download the full PDF without any
restrictions, even read them right online!

PLEASE remember alot of the info Cal had on the
early origins of the family has been proven wrong.
Anything BEFORE Daniel & Charlotte doesn't pertain to us.  The work by Jack is more thorough.

OVERVIEW:

Our Sharp family, originating in the north of England, and likely Scotland before that, has become vast in 300 years, and we can honestly say has made valuable contributions to the United States and beyond.

The family can trace it's origins to George Sharp, who came from England, to Bermuda, to Maryland. From there we spread south to Georgia, Tennessee & Alabama. Westward from there all the way to the Pacific Ocean, all points in between and even up into Canada.

The Sharp(e) family has left it's indelible mark on 2 continents and 4 countries. Anyone descended from this family can and should be proud of our heritage and lineage.

Where does the "E" in Sharpe come in at for our family?
